Hi, there! My name is Katie Lischick and I’ve recently joined The Cyphers Agency as Public Relations Account Executive. I’m excited to position our clients as thought leaders across print and broadcast media, shape key 
messages, and nurture journalist relationships.
I received my BA in English/Creative Writing and Psychology amid the rolling hills of Sweet Briar College’s bucolic campus. You could usually find me at the campus stable or palling around with my a cappella group. While there, I had the opportunity to study English literature and history abroad in Oxford, England. Seeking a cultural shift, I then received my MA in Public Communication from American University in Washington, D.C. As a graduate student, I entered the agency realm as an intern and haven’t looked back.
I’m looking forward to leveraging my experience in marketing, communications and journalism, having worked with newspapers, non-profits and agencies to plan and organize events, coordinate donors and volunteers, and strengthen clients’ presence through social and traditional media outlets.
I spend my free time Netflix binging with my husband, doting upon our cat and miniature dachshund, plotting our next international adventure, and convincing myself that barre classes are fun. I’m thrilled to join The Cyphers Agency and can’t wait to see how my career here unfolds.
