Dave started his career working with Annapolis Sailing School and Annapolis Boat Shows as a marketing director upon graduating from the University of Maryland. With locations and events across the country, this group of businesses proved to be a fantastic, hands-on marketing training ground.
From that position Dave launched what would become The Cyphers Agency in 1989. Through the last 26 years, Dave has led the effort to guide the marketing efforts of hundreds of businesses across a wide range of consumer, B2B and non-profit markets, all while growing The Cyphers Agency. Today, Dave remains engaged in daily account management on a diverse range of accounts from ADP to our numerous franchise brands as the agency’s lead strategist. Dave also works to identify and adopt emerging marketing technologies and techniques to keep the agency on the leading edge.
