Survival of the Fittest: Happy Anniversary, Cyphers!

Today is the day: The Cyphers Agency Anniversary! It is the time of year again when we at Cyphers get to reflect on our ad life.

If you don’t know, The Cyphers Agency formed 16 years ago. Once mainly a design firm, changing times called for some marketing adjustments. Over the past 16 years, we’ve come a long way in who we are and what we do.

While we’ve always been small in numbers, we haven’t been small in changes and big ideas. Over the years, we’ve evolved from a design house to a creative agency, from designing local ads to offering true creative briefs, strategy, brand development, and full marketing plans. We introduced online, with the primary addition of SEO and now word of mouth marketing with our Push-n-Pull division, bringing us to where we are today. And from day one, we’ve always looked to add employees with strategic abilities, creativity, and loads of talent (just look at our team!).

While we greet this next year with open arms, we’ve learned that survival in this industry depends on evolution. Design firms that have made it have been rare, so our changes have been well worth it. It is tough out there in the ad world. It truly is survival of the fittest, and we’d like to think that we’ve rose to that challenge. And while it hasn’t always been easy, we would never been who we are today without some growing pains. Here’s to many more years in the ad business. Cheers!
