Hi there! I’m Kristin Dyak, the new Digital Marketing Director. I’m very excited to be part of the Push ‘n Pull team. Before joining
Cyphers, I was a digital marketing consultant for companies such as National Geographic, Cushman & Wakefield, DAO Labs and The Bob & Diane Fund.
After graduating from James Madison University with a BA in Communication and Media Arts & Design, I spent five years working in Business & Legal Affairs at MGM Studios in Los Angeles. The entertainment industry provided a strong foundation to build a career in a field that engages diverse audiences. In 2013, I migrated back east and into the world of marketing.
It’s easy to get caught up in the whirlwind of cyberspace, but I’m fascinated by the power of content marketing and the impact it has on brands, causes and culture. As someone that regularly seeks out both useful and arbitrary knowledge, I appreciate that social media has allowed conversations to become public domain. People often feel that we’re too inundated with information. I believe that the focus shouldn’t be on the availability of information, but how we choose to use it.
My time off the clock is usually spent traveling, watching underrated movies and enjoying the great outdoors. I’m proud to now call Annapolis home, and I’m thrilled to be working with an exceptionally innovative team of marketing pros at The Cyphers Agency!
