Welcome to our newest member of The Cyphers Agency, Melissa Nelson!

Ciao! My name is Melissa and I am proud to declare myself as a new Account Coordinator for The Cyphers Agency.  A recent graduate of the University of Maryland (Go Terps!), I earned a bachelors degree in marketing from the Robert H. Smith School of Business. As an Annapolis native I love to hit the local scene and stay involved in the community. I am a sports enthusiast and branding guru and I am extremely excited to join the Cyphers crew!

Aside from marketing and advertising I love staying active, so working out, running and participating in sports are some of my favorite activities. Aside from high school sports, I played club field hockey for four years at UMD and spent a semester playing soccer for the American University of Rome in Italy. Currently I am participating in a kickball league in Annapolis and devoting my time to cheering for the Orioles in the playoffs — mostly to take my mind off the hot mess that is the NHL and my beloved Capitals.

After spending a semester abroad in Rome and working as a PR/Communications Intern with the Greater Washington Sports Alliance, I am excited about the possibilities here with The Cyphers Agency.  Three weeks into my Cyphers experience, I can say it has been nothing short of educational–and awesome! TCA is a strong network of enthusiastic individuals for whom branding is not just a job, but a passion. As an Account Coordinator I will be providing account management support and working with our clients to strengthen their brands. Already involved with accounts such as Anne Arundel Dermatology, Kay Apartment Communities and Martini Yacht Sales, Cyphers is starting to feel like home!
