The Cyphers Agency is looking for a fun, energetic and intelligent full-time (up to 40 hrs/week) Summer Intern to support the Account Executive and Push-n-Pull teams in their daily management of client relationships for our agency.
Our team works closely, offering you immediate exposure and experience in all facets of the agency business, from creative, brand development and marketing strategy to direct client contact, research, campaign planning and social media implementation. This position will involve some administrative support including phone answering, managing mailings and client files.

Summer Intern – Job Description
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Marketing, Advertising or Communications Major
- Strong organizational, writing, management and presentation skills
- Understand client industry trends in marketing and strategy
- Must be able to work 30-40hrs/week.
Researches, gathers and assembles background information and analyses as needed by AE and PnP teams in development of briefs, reports, etc.
Provides administration and assistance to AE and PnP teams on day to day activities for assigned clients, including internal job write ups, creating agendas and timelines, responding to client phone calls, handling mail/packages, Production and Creative deadlines, media placements, social media engagement etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow.
Provides input in planning stage as requested by AE teams. Assists in mailings, word processing of final copy, agendas, timelines, internal and client reports, proposals, client estimates/quotes, client correspondence and other materials relating to account service and makes ready for client presentations.
Handles paperwork and maintains files on all of the client’s activities, maintain client copy, access information, forms/documents, etc.
Maintains “Client Notebooks” for all assigned accounts, detailing past work and work-in- progress, and all pertinent information needed for accurate proofreading and meeting of client standards.
By AE teams’ request, takes minutes at meetings, prepares and distributes follow ups, updated content, timelines, etc.
Makes sure all media and projects proceed according to plan and deadlines, drawing attention of AE to potential problems before they occur.
Is responsible for proofreading copy, artwork; sees that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to media or production vendors.
Works directly with Social Media Marketing (SMM) team and AE teams to facilitate all SMM efforts and integration points. Review and confirm to do lists, provide resources and information to internal team members, manage project timelines, schedule and participate in brainstorms, review content and manage client approvals.
Supports AE teams in handling and distributing client mail and invoices.
