Google Business Profile – https://www.google.com/business/ is offering restaurants a way to promote their menus and get orders for pickup and delivery. Get started with it through your Google Business (formerly Google My Business) listing.

Outdoor Dining

In case you aren’t familiar with what a Google Business profile listing is, it’s a free way for local restaurants to appear in Google search results and map listings when someone searches for a restaurant near them. A Google Business listing allows you to provide details about your restaurant such as an address, hours, menu items or link to your menu, reservation information, etc. All you need to do is verify your listing and add information. Keeping your listing up-to-date with special offers can bring even more visitors to your establishment. If your restaurant has multiple locations, you can add all of them under one account.

More Bookings and Online Orders – Your listing can lead to instant bookings or pickup orders – Google has partnerships with third-party booking platforms to let your diners book their reservations easily without needing to visit multiple websites. See the Reserve with Google partners list here – https://www.google.com/maps/reserve/partners

Customers who find your listing through Google maps can order directly from it using your chosen platform. They won’t need to install a separate app! This helps local restaurants who are tired of paying fees to delivery apps like GrubHub and are changing the way they operate due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Features Available on a Google Business Profile Listing

Photos – Once you have your listing verified, enhance it by adding great photos of your restaurant’s interior and exterior, and of course, your wonderful food. If you’re offering outdoor seating, be sure to include photos of your outside dining area.

You can add up to 10 photos or videos to these post types as well.
