1-3 years experience (advertising agency client services experience preferred)
The Cyphers Agency is seeking a passionate, creative, and detail oriented Account Coordinator to serve as an integral member of our team. All our team members do lots of heavy lifting when it comes to developing brand messaging, social media, strategizing integrated marketing plans, brainstorming wild and crazy campaigns – all to create great advertising.
The role of an Account Coordinator is, generally, to provide assistance to the assigned Account Executive (AE) in the day to day management of accounts and to develop the skills necessary to advance to the position of Account Executive (AE). The AC reports directly to their respective AE.
Our team works closely, offering you immediate exposure to all facets of the agency business, from creative, brand development and marketing strategy to direct client contact, research and campaign planning. This position will also involve some administrative support to keep client projects well-organized and on track. The ideal candidate learns quickly, is comfortable handling multiple projects simultaneously, doesn’t neglect the details and can problem solve their way out of anything. There is room for the ideal candidate to take on more responsibility and begin managing client relationships more fully as soon as the ability is demonstrated.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing or communications.
- Solid organizational skills with detail oriented focus
- Comfortable juggling projects and prioritizing
- Strong writing, management and presentation skills
- Strategically minded, creative thinker
- Understand client industry trends in marketing and strategy
Researches, gathers and assembles background information and analyses as needed by AE in development of briefs, reports, etc.
Provides administration and assistance to AE on day to day activities for assigned clients, including internal job write ups, creating agendas and timelines, responding to client phone calls, reporting, handling mail/packages, Production and Creative deadlines, media placements, budget management, etc., to ensure continued progress of client workflow in the absence of the assigned AE.
Provides input in planning stage as requested by AE. Assists in mailings, word processing of final copy, agendas, timelines, pulling data, proofing, internal and client report creation, proposals, client estimates/quotes, client correspondence and other materials relating to account service and makes ready for client presentations.
Handles paperwork and maintains files on all of the client’s activities, maintain client copy, access information, forms/documents, etc.
By AE request, takes minutes at meetings, prepares and distributes follow ups, updated content, timelines, etc.
Makes sure all media and projects proceed according to plan and deadlines, drawing attention of AE to potential problems before they occur.
Is responsible for proofreading copy, artwork; sees that all work completes the standard agency approval process before being reviewed by clients or turned over to media or production vendors.
Works with Social Media Marketing team and AE to facilitate all SMM efforts and integration points. Review and confirm to do lists, provide resources and information to internal team members, manage project timelines, schedule brainstorms, review content, reports and manage client approvals.
Supports AE in handling and distributing client mail and invoices.
